FUTURES FOR

TECHNOLOGY
WITH DIVERSITY,
INNOVATION
FOR INCLUSION

Olabi believes that technology requires diversity and that innovation only fulfills its role when it promotes inclusion. That is why we work to transform both access to technology and the very processes of creation and development. We promote innovation that stems from listening, values multiple forms of knowledge, and fosters new social imaginaries.

We were born in 2014 as a laboratory for creation and “making” — a makerspace — in response to the restlessness of that time. Since then, the world has changed, and so have we.

We engage in training programs, consulting, knowledge production, and the creation of tools that expand technical capabilities while simultaneously provoking cultural and social change. We work to connect people, communities, companies, and organizations, strengthening networks and fostering spaces for collaboration, active learning, experimentation, and belonging.

Olabi has built a powerful track record: encompassing over 25 projects, 200 actions, and 4,000 hours dedicated to workshops, training, consulting, and transformative exchanges. In partnership with dozens of companies and organizations, we have impacted over 1 million people. Our work has echoed globally, leading us to share this experience in 17 countries across five continents.
