More than just training, we want to change the mindset around longevity.
In an increasingly digitized society, access to technology cannot be a privilege of younger generations. Transborda 60+ is an Olabi project that bridges the gap between people aged 60 and over and the digital universe, recognizing their agency and expanding possibilities for civic, cultural, and social participation. More than teaching technology use, it values wisdom, stimulates exchange, and invites the older population to occupy the present and future with a leading role.

“I’ve always been multifaceted; I do a bunch of things at once, but I was never very technological. When they called to tell me we would be using Zoom, I thought: ‘I’m screwed.’ But, with Olabi’s help, I learned, and suddenly, I was teaching embroidery on the internet. Today, I have a podcast, a YouTube channel, and I speak on web radios. I went from not knowing what Zoom was to using artificial intelligence to create images.”

“It is moving to see the transformation in those who think ‘I have nothing left to learn’ or ‘this isn’t for me.’ When these people light up realizing that, yes, they can learn and reach new goals, it is very gratifying. This experience leaves a mark and fills one with satisfaction.”
